Tales Of The Sun

A 7 track trance | hard trance album (31m 39s) — released April 14th 2023 on Evar Records

The Italian-born and London-based music producer, UVCORE, will release his highly anticipated album, Tales of the Sun, via Los Angeles' Evar Records on April 14th. And they are kicking things off with the video for their lead single, "White Fungus" – a colossal dance track packed with delicate, twinkling melodies and thunderous 4/4 beats.

The album, Tales of the Sun, is a collection of melodic experimental club tracks that sound like dreams of utopian futures. On songs like "Cardio Nova", the organic and inorganic melt into one, nature and machine, as earthly elements like birdsong are pierced by surging synths. Elsewhere, psychedelia is blended with industrial on "Meadow Land". "All I want to do is make epic melodic anthems," said UVCORE. "I'm taking the genres I've always loved – hardcore, techno and trance – and fusing them into one otherworldly style."

UVCORE is the artistic project of Andrea Guidi. He grew up in the small post-industrial town near Milan, on a musical diet of 'Mediterranean progressive' icons like Gigi D'Agostino and Mauro Picotto. His previous single, "Tirrenia", was featured on the 2020 compilation 'SPF Infini' by the Canadian electronic artist, TDJ, and another track, "Positive Messages", was released on Tremors in 2021. Recent live shows include a set at London's Electrowerkz, as well as a performance at Pitchfork Music Festival 2021 as part of a night curated by PC Music.

UVCORE's album was produced by himself and mastered by Dan Shike at Tone and Volume. And look out for the mesmerizing video for lead single "White Fungus" soon – created by Pppanik.
